EspressoShack.com

In 2010-11 I started building affiliate marketing websites, which are basically just websites centered around products with pages full of adsense ads and amazon.com affiliate links. EspressoShack.com was one of my first big ones.

I wrote over a hundred articles about different espresso machines as well as general info on espresso. The site did pretty well when you consider that I did virtually no marketing whatsoever.

All the traffic came from organic search engine traffic. Google loved my well written articles and sent anywhere from 100 to 1,000 people to the site per day.

In May of 2012 I decided to sell the site and put it up for sale at Flippa. Bidding was very strong for the first couple of days before someone contacted me and made a preemptive offer to end the bidding.

I accepted the offer and that was that.

I think the site is a good example of a well executed but simple affiliate website. I wish the new owner lots of luck.
